FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Residential Care Manager (RCM) serves as the primary stabilizing and continuity presence within the maternity home, carrying the majority of weekly residential coverage while helping maintain the structure, consistency, emotional steadiness, and overall rhythm of the home environment. This role functions as the primary residential leadership presence within the home and helps ensure the residential environment consistently operates in alignment with the mission, culture, standards, and relational values of HHF. The RCM helps cultivate a calm, emotionally safe, structured, and healing-centered atmosphere where residents can experience consistency, dignity, accountability, encouragement, and healthy relational connection. This role is ideal for an individual or married couple who naturally creates calmness, stability, predictability, emotional safety, and healthy structure within a shared living environment. The Residential Care Manager carries the majority of weekly residential coverage, typically around five days per week, while helping oversee continuity, consistency, and alignment within the residential environment in accordance with HHF leadership philosophy, expectations, and program culture. Onsite housing is available for this position.

Residential Leadership & Home Stability
• Maintain the overall rhythm, structure, and emotional steadiness of the home
• Help cultivate a calm, peaceful, and emotionally safe environment
• Reinforce healthy routines, structure, and shared living expectations
• Help preserve consistency, predictability, and relational stability within the home
• Support peaceful shared living and healthy relational dynamics among residents
• Help maintain alignment with HHF culture, values, and residential philosophy
• Serve as a stabilizing and dependable leadership presence within the home environment

Resident Support & Relational Care

• Provide consistent relational encouragement, practical guidance, and emotional support to residents
• Help residents develop healthy routines, personal responsibility, emotional regulation, and life skills
• Support residents through emotionally difficult situations with calmness, compassion, and maturity
• Encourage positive parenting, bonding, communication, and healthy boundaries
• Help foster confidence, stability, and growth within the residential environment

Household Structure & Daily Operations

• Support household cleanliness, organization, and shared responsibilities
• Reinforce daily routines, schedules, curfews, and guest expectations
• Help maintain a peaceful, welcoming, and functional home environment
• Assist in identifying operational or maintenance needs within the home
• Help ensure the home environment remains emotionally and physically safe

Safety, Documentation & Communication

• Respond calmly and appropriately to resident concerns, emergencies, or emotionally heightened situations
• Maintain accurate shift notes, incident documentation, and communication logs
• Communicate concerns, incidents, scheduling needs, or resident support needs to leadership appropriately and in a timely manner
• Reinforce HHF policies, expectations, and residential standards consistently and respectfully
• Help maintain healthy boundaries, professionalism, and respectful communication within the home

Spiritual & Relational Support

• Encourage healthy relational growth, encouragement, and accountability within the home
• Support a Christ-centered, compassionate, and grace-filled environment
• Respect individual spiritual journeys while helping maintain HHF values and culture
• Model integrity, emotional maturity, humility, and compassion within the residential environment
